I fail to understand why Amazon does not acknowledge that someone can actually use an other computer to log into their seller account.

I sell jewelry on Amazon and so far I have been enjoying the experience thanks to the good sales. I have a friend who also sells electronics on Amazon. Last week, her account was suspended because a few customers complained about her products not being brand new as she claims. I normally use her computer when am at her place but I never knew that Amazon suspends accounts based on IP addresses.
Even if Amazon thinks that our accounts are linked, jewelry and electronics are not related plus the accounts are registered with different credentials. The reason for my returns being high is automatically ruled out because very rarely did I have products returned by my customers.

The kind of treatment that am receiving from their customer care is just heartbreaking. No one is responding to my problem and I think that it is very unfair because this is my second year selling.
Right now my business is at a standstill and I understand that the procedure might take way too long or worse, my account is gone. I have done nothing wrong and still, Amazon suspended my seller account. I have heard about such cases before but I never thought they were real.
If anything, Amazon should make it clear that they use IP addresses to evaluate accounts which is kind of a lame thing to do. Unless the suspensions are automated, they should know that they are actually interfering with other peoples lives.
I am now forced to expand my business to eBay until hopefully my Amazon suspended appeal is over and they reinstated my account. . Amazon needs to change the way they deal with these issues especially if someone has not done anything breaking their selling terms.
How to appeal an Amazon suspension
Step 1: Find the reason of suspension
Amazon can suspend a seller account for nothing. Behind such a decision is always a well-documented reason. The first major possible reason why Amazon suspended your business is that you followed poorly the Seller Policies imposed by the online retailer at the stage of account creation.
Probably, you either sold a restricted product, created more accounts than accepted, or violated the price policy. The second major reason is the incredibly low seller performance of your business. Amazon checks for the performance evolution of each account and sets acceptable thresholds that are not recommended to be violated. Probably, you have too much negative feedback from clients, or your late shipment rate has jumped over the acceptable 4%.
Step 2: Create an informative appeal
Once you have spotted the issue, go on by creating a consistent plan of action that would provide Amazon with a clear explanation of what and why happened with your account, and a list of confident steps that you intend to take, so that it does not happen anymore. First, begin with an introductory paragraph, where you inform Amazon about your business. Then, you need to give a detailed description of the issue due to which Amazon suspended your account. Provide trusted data and figures from your research, to familiarize the retailer with the root of the problem, and prove that you really want and know how to tackle it and set your business back on track. Present an action plan that includes new tools and mechanisms that are to be applied for a better functioning of your account. Say what steps have been done, and what your team intends to do in the future to ensure a rapid recovery of your account.
Step 3: Send the appeal
As you finished writing the appeal, send it to Amazon for review. Go in Performance Notifications, where your seller suspension is Then, click on Appeal Decision, and put there your plan of action, joined by a phone number Finally, press the Submit Appeal button, and wait for Amazon’s response. Usually, the response comes in two days.
