We all have heard of Amazon as a gold mine where money can be made easily. There’s hundreds of eBooks that’s out there, some are free while there are others which you have to pay for it.
But then there are many things that could go wrong which might result in your Amazon account getting suspended and all your hard earned earnings and reputation all gone in an instant. I never thought that Amazon would hit me with a suspension but boy was I wrong.

I started selling stuffs on Amazon back in 2008 when I wanted to clear some of my unused stuffs lying around in the basement. I still remember how it would only take mere hours to get a buyer for my Marvel and DC comic books like Spiderman, Superman and Batman. I was in need of money at that time to partly finance for my wedding and I needed all the cash I can grab hold of at that time.
After finding out for myself how easy it was to sell things on Amazon, I started thinking of other things to sell so I did a little bit of research on what’s the hot selling items, who buys what, at what price and so forth. That’s when I decided to start selling clothes from impoverished countries like Bangladesh, Cambodia and Vietnam. The simple concept of buying dirt cheap and selling within what the market feels is affordable seems easy enough.
I was making thousands of dollars each month and before I know it, orders keep pouring in non-stop, more than what I hoped for. I decided to quit my day job and give my full attention to my new shiny golden nugget. I guess the ease of buying online from Amazon really helped me and my customers a lot.
After a few years of raking easy money, all of a sudden I lost everything. Last month, I couldn’t get into my Amazon account and there was an e-mail saying that my Amazon was suspended. There wasn’t any clear reason given other than warning me not to create a new account or face further suspension.
You can imagine my horror when I saw that all my hard work gone down the drain with that e-mail. I was crying the whole day and it took me a few days for me to come to my senses while at the same time trying to find out what exactly happened and what went wrong. My calls to Amazon enquiring about the suspension fell on deaf ears. I need to know the reason why I got suspended by Amazon.
So then I started looking elsewhere for answers. Apparently there were many sellers out there on Amazon who was also getting their accounts suspended with no concrete explanation whatsoever. With that in mind, I’m now on a two months holiday as I contemplate my next move after the Amazon suspension. I learned a valuable lesson that you should take nothing for granted and it only took a day to turn your life upside down.
